The revitalization of downtown Phoenix brings more attention to the neighboring businesses located on Central & Monroe. This is also the location of the Hotel San Carlos, one of Phoenix's oldest and most notorious hotels. The rich and famous stayed there during the 50's & 60's. The hotel has a history for hauntings by those who have passed onsite. The hotel still is popular with toursists and hipsters looking to see and be seen at rooftop pool parties.
